The Process
Consultation
We start with an informal consultation, to exchange ideas. I take time to understand how you
use the space, your lifestyle, and what you want to achieve, and give you ideas and
recommendations about which colours, window treatments and styles will make the most of your space. We can meet on your own premises or in our Shirley show-home (near Croydon),
where you can see how quality design works in a home environment. Please allow up to two hours.
Basic design scheme
After the initial meeting, I provide written notes and a sample board with swatches of fabric, paint
and wall-coverings for an at-a-glance reference of how the finished scheme will look.
Detailed design scheme
After finalising the basic scheme, I supply detailed sketches and plans to show
lighting, furniture and accessories to complete the room.
Project Management
If desired, I can use my knowledge, contacts and experience to source the products and
suppliers that are right for you, and manage the installation of every last detail so it
couldn’t be easier for you!
My fees
From £50 + VAT per hour
(Average time for a sample board is two hours)
